AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE A PART OF CERTAIN PREMISES.
(Zone Change No. 349 - Laband)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and
declare that the following zone changes and amendments were duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission,
and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and
general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following
zone change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.78 reading as follows:
119202.2.78. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the R-1 One -Family Residential Zone, Area District IV, to wit:
Lot 17 of Tract No. 2371, in the Rancho La Puente,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per
map recorded in Book 23, Pages 98 and 99 of Maps,
in the office of the Recorder of said County.
Except therefrom that portion described as follows:
• Beginning at the most Southerly corner of said Lot 17;
thence North 250 391 East, along the Southeasterly line
of said Lot 17, a distance of 308.52 feet; thence North
640 211 'West 8.00 feet to a point in a line that is
parallel with and 8.00 feet Northwesterly measured at
right angles from the aforesaid Southeasterly line;
thence South �50 39' West, along said parallel line, 304-97
feet.to a point in the Southwesterly line of said lot 17,
said line being also the Northeasterly line of Cameron
Avenue, 60 feet wide; thence South 400 251 East along
said Southwesterly and Northeasterly line 8.75 feet to
the point of beginning."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.
