AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING SECTION 9224.5 OF THE WEST
COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO NOTICE OF
HEARING IN ZONING MATTERS.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Subsection (a) of Section 9224.5 of the West
Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a
new paragraph 5 reading as follows:
"5. In those matters in which a reclassification
of property would only change the zoning to
conform to the existing use on the property,
both mailing and posting of the notice of
hearing may be dispensed with by the Planning
Commission or City Council as the case may be,
in which case notice may be given by publi-
cation only."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.

thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 28th day of June , 1965, by the
