Ordinance - 926ORDINANCE NO. 020 AN'ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO REZONE A PART OF CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone Change No. 340 - Southern California Savings and Loan The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as follows : SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that the following zone changes and amendments were duly initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission, and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change and amendment be made. SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.72 reading as follows: "9202.2.72. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the following described premises are hereby placed and included in the R-1 One -Family Residential Zone, Area District IV, to wit: That portion of Lot 116, Tract 930, in the City of West Covina, Book 17, Pages 38 and 39 of Maps, of the County Recorder, described as follows: in the office Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot 18, Tract 21425, Book 594, Page 48 through 50 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder, said corner being an angle point in the Easterly boundary of the land described in the deed to W. E. Hardy recorded on July 23, 1954 as Instrument No. 875 in Book 45136, Page 102 of Official Records, in the office of the County Recorder; thence along said easterly boundary the following course; South 230 16, 10" East 616.01 feet, South 110 52' 00" East 517.63 feet, South 140 06, 40" West 394.94 feet and South`*230 06' 30" East 1387.80 feet to the southerly line of said Lot 116; thence along said Southerly line South 650 39' 10" West 1488.52 feet to an angle point in said Southerly line; thence continuing along said Southerly line North 730 54' 20" West 637.45 feet to the southeast corner of the land described as Parcel 1 in the deed to Emil G. Galster, recorded on February 21, 1944 as Instrument No:. 305 in Book 20612, Page 319 of said Official Records; thence along the easterly boundary of said Galster land, North 10 04, 00" East 3485.60 feet, more or less, to a point distant along said Easterly boundary South 10 04l 00" West 260.78 feet from the northeast corner of said land of Galster; thence South 880 56, 00" East 373.87 feet to a point in the northwesterly line of said Lot 39, South 170 43, 47" West 83.71 feet to the most westerly corner of said Lot 39; thence southeasterly and easterly along the southwesterly and southerly lines of said Tract No. 21425 to the point of beginning.." -1- SECTION 3.
