Ordinance - 905ORDINANCE NO. 905 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE GIVING OF NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION 0 OF TENTATIVE MAPS OF SUBDIVISIONS. The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain a.s follows: SECTION 1. Section 9116 of the West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows: 119116. LIST OF OWNERS TO BE NOTIFIED. At the time of submission of the map to the Secretary of the City Planning Commission pursuant to Section 9115, the sub- divider shall also submit a. list setting forth the names and addresses, as they appear on the latest assessment roll, of, the following persons: (a) The owners of the property being subdivided. (b) The owners of all property contiguous to the proposed subdivision. (d) The owners of all property separated only by a public street or alley from the proposed sub- division. • Said list shall be verified,.under penalty of perjury, by the person who has examined said assessment roll." SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new Section 9116.1 reading as follows: 119116.1. NOTIFICATION OF OWNERS. Not less than ten days prior to the date the matter is to be considered, the Secretary of the Planning Commission shall cause notification of same to be sent by first class mail to all persons whose names and addresses appear on the list described in Section 9116. The Secretary shall certify such mailing to the Planning Commission and said list shall be contained in the permanent record of such subdivision." SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
