ORDINANCE. NO. 902
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 327 - Eton Investment Corporation)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone changes and amendments were duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission,
and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity
and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following
zone change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.61 reading as follows:
"9202.2.61. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the R-P Restricted Professional Zone, to wit:
That portion of Lot 195 of E. J. Baldwin's 5th
Subdivision of a portion of the Rancho La Puente,
in the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as per map recorded in Book
12 pages 134- and 135 of Maps, in the office of the
County recorder of said county, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southerly line of said
lot, distant easterly thereon 207.87 feet from.the
most westerly corner of said lot, said point being
the southeast corner of the land described in the
deed to Michael Haber, recorded in book 22172 page
379, official records of said county; thence along
the easterly line of said land of Haber, North 00
39' 50" East 171.53 feet; thence easterly parallel
with the south line of said lot, 139.79 feet; thence
south Oo 39' 50" West 171.53 feet to a point in the
southerly line of said lot; thence westerly along
said southerly line, 139.79 feet to the point of
beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM 'all precious metals and ores
thereof', as excepted from the partition between
John Rowland, Sr, and William Workman in the
partition deed recorded in book 10 page 39 of
deeds."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.

introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 25th day of January , 1965. That,
thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and assed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 8th day of February , 1965,
by the following vote, to wit:
