AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 323 - Scott)
follows: The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as

SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission,
and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity
and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following
zone change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The nest Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.57 reading as follows:
119202.2.57. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are -hereby placed and included in
the C-1 Neighborhood Commercial Zone, to wit:
That portion of Lot 93 of Tract No. 930, in the City
of ,West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of Cali-
fornia, as per map recorded in Book 17, pages 38 and 39
of Maps in the office of the County Recorder of said
County, described as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of said Lot 93;.
thence south 890 341 50" East along the northerly line
thereof, 200.00 feet; thence south 00 251 21" West parallel
with the Westerly line thereof, 269.76 feet to a point in
the center line of the 50 ft. strip of land described in
deed to Los Angeles County Flood Control District,
recorded in Book 14270, page 112, Official Records of
said County; thence southwesterly along said center line
following its true description to the Westerly line of
said Lot 93; thence North 00 251 21" East along said
Westerly line, 355.78 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT THEREFROM: the northerly 10.00 feet as described
in Book 11343, Page 53, official Records of said County.
Also excepting therefrom, the southern 25.00 feet as
described in said deed to the Los Angeles County Flood
Control District."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk -shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.
