AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF THE
UNIFORM BUILDING CODE AS ADOPTED BY THE WEST
COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 8110.1 of the West Covina Municipal
Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new subsection
reading as follows:
"() Sec, 3,04 (c) of said Building Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new paragraph reading as follows:
There shall be no clearance of connection of gas or
electrical utilities until final building, heating and air-
conditioning inspection as required above is made and approval
has been given on any building sought to be connected to such
utilities unless approval has been first obtained from the
Building Official."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish.the same as required by law.

introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the loth day of August , 1964. That,
thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted pted and passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 24th day of August , 1964, by
the following vote, to wit:
