Ordinance - 864ORDINANCE NO. 864 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone Change No. 284 - Merry) follows: The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission, and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change and amendment be made. SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition.thereto of a new section 9202.2.38 reading as follows: '19202.2.38. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the following described premises are hereby placed and included in the R-3 Medium Density Multiple Family Zone, to wit: That portion of Lot 166 of E. J. Baldwin's Fourth Subdivision, in the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded in Book 8, Page 186 of Maps, on file in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: 7.87 acres commencing atthe most southerly corner of • Lot 166 thence North 480 07 t West 793.25 feet, thence north 41° 531 east 430.00 feet, thence southeast 801.16 feet to the southeast line of said lot, thence south- west thereon 430.13 feet to the point of beginning. EXCEPT the westerly 135 feet thereof which is hereby placed in the R-1 Single Family Residential Zone." SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law. Passed and approved this 22nd day of June , 1964.
