ORDINANCE NO. 8.60
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 296 - Sindell and Kreedman)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly
initiated, hearings.thereon were duly held by the Planning Commis-
sion, and by the`City Council, and that the public convenience,
necessity and general welfare and good zoning practice require
that the following zone change.and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby
amended by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.37 reading
as follows:
"9202.2.37. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provi-
sions of Section 9202.2 and the:Zoning Map referred to
therein, the following described premises are hereby placed
and included in the R-4.High Density Multiple Family Zone,
to -wit -
The southeasterly 206.95'feet of the northwesterly
80 feet of the southwesterly 240 feet of Lot 88 of
E. J..Baldwin's second subdivision of a portion of
.the Rancho La Puente, -in the City of West Covina,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per
map recorded in Book 7 page 7 of Maps, in the office
of the.County Recorder of said County."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as
required bylaw.
