AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING SECTION 2117 OF THE WEST
COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO VOTING BY CITY
COUNCILMEN.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 2117 of the West Covina Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"2117. VOTING- EFFECT OF SILENCE.
Unless a member of the Council audibly votes in the
negative, or disqualifies himself or expressly.declines to
vote, his silence shall be recorded as an affirmative vote."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
Passed and approved this 8th day of June 1964.
