AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
'NEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 285 - Hartman Noonan Co.)
follows:
SECTION 1. The CityCouncil does hereby find determine and
y ,
declare that the following zone changes and amendments were duly initiated,
that notice ofhearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission, and by the
City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general
welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change
and amendment be -made.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.34 reading as follows:
119202.2.34. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in the
R-2 Restricted Multiple Family Zone, to -wit:
The northwesterly 270.00 feet of those portions of Lots
162 and 163 of E. J. Baldwin's Fourth Subdivision of
part of the'Rancho La Puente, in the City of West Covina,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as per map
recorded in book 8 page 186 of Maps, on file in the office
of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
• Beginning at the most northerly corner of said Lot 162;
thence northeasterly along the northwesterly line of said
Lot 163, a distance .of 107.97 feet; thence southeasterly
parallel with the southwesterly line of said Lot 163, a
distance of 1193.22 feet to the southeasterly line
thereof; thence southwesterly along the southeasterly
line of said Lots 163 and 162, a distance of 313.07
feet; thence northwesterly parallel with the south-
westerly line of said Lot 163, a distance of 1187.00
feet, to the northwesterly line of Lot 162; thence north-
easterly along the northwesterly line of said Lot 162 a
distance of 205 feet, to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT therefrom the northeasterly 110 feet thereof.
ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom any portion thereof lying within
St. Malo Avenue and Vine Avenue."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
