AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 280 - Gemite, Inc.)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission,
and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity
and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following
zone change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.25 reading as follows:
"9202.2.25. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the R-1 One -Family Residential Zone, to -wit:
Those portions of Lots 13 and 20 of Tract No. 2371,
in the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles,
State of California recorded as per Map Book 23,
Page 98 and 99 of Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said county, described as follows:
Parcel A: Lot 13 of said Tract No. 2371 EXCEPT
therefrom the westerly 330 feet measured along the
northerly and southerly line, of said Lot 13.
Parcel B: Beginning at the northwest corner of Lot
20; thence South 880 561 East along the northerly
line of said lot, 9.22 feet; thence South 10 o4,
West parallel with the westerly line of said lot,
218.02 feet; thence South 260 37' East 20.51 feet;
thence South 1P` 261, West 74.60 feet; thence South
300 35' 03" West 401.31 feet, more or less, to the
southerly line of said lot; thence North 880 56,
West along said southerly line 20.52 feet, more or
less, to the southwesterly corner of said lot; thence
northerly along the westerly line of said lot to the
point of beginning."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.

do hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No. 841 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 13th day of January , 1964. That,
thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 27th day of January , 1964,
by the following vote, to -wit:
