AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 275 - Collins)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
.0 follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and
declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly initiated,
that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the
City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general
welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change
and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.19 reading as follows:
119202.2.19. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the C-1 Neighborhood Commercial Zone, to -wit:
PARCEL A
The westerly 165 feet of Lot 74 Tract 930 as recorded in
Map Book 17 Pages 38 and 39 of the Official Records of
the County of Los Angeles, State of California, described
as follows:
• Lot commencing South 10 04, west 10 feet, thence north
880 56, west 165 feet from the northeast corner of said
Lot 74; thence continuing north 880 56, West, being the
south line of San Bernardino Freeway to the west line of
said lot; thence south thereon to the northwest line of
easement to Los Angeles County Flood Control District per
O.R. 14586-184; thence northeasterly on said northwest
line to a point on a line bearing South 10 04, West from
the point of beginning; thence North 10 041 East to the
point of beginning.
PARCEL B Easterly 150 foot parcel:
The easterly 150.00 feet of the northerly 380.00 feet of
Lot 73, Tract No. 930, in the City of West Covina, Los
Angeles County, State of California, as shown on map recorded
in Book 17, pages 38 and 39 of Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said county.
PARCEL C Westerly or remaining parcel:
The northerly 380.00 feet of the westerly 180 feet of Lot
73, Tract No. 930, in the City of West Covina, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as shown on map recorded
in Book 17, pages 38 and 39 of Maps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said county.
EXCEPTING therefrom that portion of Parcel B and C said land
described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said lot; thence along
