ORDINANCE NO. 807
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 261 - Jackson)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and
declare that the following zone,,change and amendment was duly initiated,
that notice of hearing,thereori was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the
City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general
welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change
and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.7 reading as follows:
"9202.2.7. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the C-1 Neighborhood Commercial Zone, to -wit:
Portion of Lot 73 of Tract No; 930, in the City of
West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as per map recorded in book 17 pages 38 and 39 of
maps, in the office of the county recorder of said
county, described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot 73; thence
south 10 04' West along the westerly boundary line of
said lot 73, a distance of 935.34 feet; thence north
460 50' 45" east a distance of 460.47 feet to a. point
in the easterly line of said lot 73; thence north
10 041 east along the easterly line of said lot 73;
a distance of 614.19 feet more or less; to the north-
easterly corner of said Lot 73; thence north 88 56,
west along the northerly boundary line of said lot 73;
a distance of 330 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT therefrom a deed to the State of California in
0. R. 45964-394, records of said county, known as
Garvey Avenue.
ALSO EXCEPTING therefrom the southerly portion of said
parcel of land as conveyed to the Los Angeles County
Flood Control District described in Parcel 16 and 465
Official Records of said County to carry storm water
in a definite course known as Walnut Creek Channel."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published.as required by
law.

hereby certify that the foregoing Ordinance No.807 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 24th day of June , 1963. That, thereafter,
said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 8th day of July , 1963, by the following
vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Towner, Jett, Heath, Snyder, Mayor Barnes
NOES: Councilmen: None
