AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA CONSENTING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A
PORTION OF BADILLO STREET AS A COUNTY HIGHWAY AND
TO THE IMPROVEMENT THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Los
Angeles has adopted a resolution declaring Badillo Street between Vincent
Avenue and Lark Ellen Avenue to be a part of the System of Highways of
said County and declaring the intention of the County to improve the
same, and
WHEREAS, the consent of the City of West Covina is required
pursuant to Section 1701 of the Streets and Highways Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of West Covina
does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of West Covina
consent, and it does hereby consent,.to the inclusion of said portion of
Badillo Street as a part of the system of highways of the County of Los
Angeles and to the improvement thereof by said County.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law and shall transmit a certified copy thereof to the Board of Super-
visors of the County of Los Angeles.
