AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 257 - Ardmore Development Co.)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
• SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly initiated,
that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission, and by the
City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general
welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change
and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2.6 reading as follows:
119202.2.6. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in the
R-3b Low Density Multiple Family Residential Zone, to -wit:
The easterly 120 feet, measured at right angles, of those
portions of Lots 11 and 17 of the McCarthy Cots., Subdivision
of Block 1 of the Hollenbeck Tract, in the Rancho La Puente,
in the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as per map filed in Book 3 page 23 of Record
of Surveys, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County, included within the following described lines:
• Commencing at the most northerly corner of Lot 11, Tract
17045, as shown on map recorded in Book 448, pages 26, 27
and 28 of Maps, Records of said County- thence North 580
111 East 28.86 feet; thence North 500 42t East 68.32
feet; thence North 420 23, East 89.26 feet and North 00 Olt
West to the Southerly line of the 50.00 foot right of way
for Walnut Creek Wash, as granted to the Los Angeles County
Flood Control District, by deed recorded in Book 7479, page
38 of Deeds and in Book 977, page 148, Official Records of
said County; thence westerly and southwesterly along said
southerly line to the intersection of a line that bears
North 00 Olt West from the point of beginning; thence
South 00 Olt East to the point of beginning."

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.
