AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA.MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS_TO REZONE CERTAIN. PREMISES. (Zone..
Change No 236 Don Kay.Corp.)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that.the following zone change and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission
and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and
general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone
change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition„thereto of a new section 9202.2111 reading as follows:
"9202.2111. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the R-3b Low Density Multiple Family Residential Zone, to -wit:
That portion of Lot 162 of E. J. Baldwin's 4th Subdivision
of a part of Rancho La Puente,.in the City of West Covina,
County of Los Angeles, State of California, as. ,per map
recorded in Book 8 page _.186 of Maps, in -the office of
the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the southeasterly
line of said Lot 162 with a line which is parallel with
• and 260.00 feet northeasterly, measured at right angles,
from the southwesterly line of said Lot 162; thence along
said southeasterly line north 420 55' 57" east 415.08
feet, more or less, to a line which bears south 480 07'
00" east and intersects the northwesterly line of said lot
at.a point distant northeasterly thereon 675.00 feet from
the most westerly corner of said lot; thence along said
last described line north 480 071,00" west 594.14 feet to
the most northerly corner of the land conveyed to David
H. Robinson and Gladys Robinson by deed recorded in Book
21060 page 85, Official.Records, in the office of the
said County Recorder; thence along northwesterly line
of said land conveyed to David.H. Robinson and Gladys
Robinson, south 420 24' 40" west 415.02 feet to said
arallel line; thence along said parallel line south
80 07' 00" east 590.35 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT the southeasterly 175 feet thereof. "
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
