ORDINANCE NO. 756
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 227 - Allen & Snell)

SECTION 2. The 'West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2xx reading as follows:
119202.2xx. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the'Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the C-1 Neighborhood Commercial Zone, to -wit: .
That portion of the Rancho La Puente in the City of West
Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as
per map recorded in Book 1, pages 43 and 44 of Patents,
on file in the office of the County Recorder of .said
County, described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner of Tract No. 24648
in said City, as per map recorded in Book 665 page 68 of
Maps, on file in the office of said County Recorder; thence
along the northerly line of Puente Avenue, 80 feet wide,
as shown on said Tract No. 24648; South 870 041 10" east
274.45 feet, more or less, to the westerly line of the
land described in that certain lease to,the General
Petroleum Corporation,.recorded on May 6, 1955., as
Instrument No. 125 in Book 47698, page 102 of Official
Records; thence along last -described westerly line and
the northerly line of said last -described land, north 20
55' 50" east 130.00 feet and south 870 041 10" east
138.40 feet respectively to the westerly line of Irwindale
Avenue 142.00 feet wide; (now known as Sunset Avenue)
thence along said last -described westerly line north 5°
141 55" east 73.81 feet, to a line which intersects last -
described westerly line at a point southerly 482.50 feet
from the intersection of said last -described westerly
line with said first herein -described northerly line;
thence north 87° 241 27" west, 410.43 feet, more or less,
to a point in the easterl line of the above -mentioned
Tract, distant north 4° 2' 38" east 201.30 feet, from
the point of beginning; thence south 40 281 38" west
201.30 feet, along said easterly tract line to the point
of beginning.
EXCEPT the westerly 37.30 feet thereof.'
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.
