ORDINANCE NO. 750
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF THE WEST
COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO LAUNDRY AND DRY
CLEANING USES IN THE C-1 ZONE.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following amendment was duly initiated, that notice
of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public hearings
thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and City Council, and
that the public convenience and necessity and the general welfare require
that the following amendment be made.
SECTION 2. Item (m) of Section 9211 of the West Covina
Municipal Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
"(m) Laundry or clothes cleaning agency; pressing shops;
self-service laundries; self-service dry cleaners;
and retail laundries and dry cleaners whose entire
trade is derived from laundry and cleaning items
picked up and delivered by the retail customer."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.

introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 23rd day of July , 1962. That, there-
after, said ordinance was duly adopte and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 13th day of August , 1962, by the
following vote, to -wit:
