Ordinance - 749�jl 1 ORDINANCE NO. 749 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone Change No..197 - Sunset Manor) The City Council of the City of West Covina does cm dain as follows : SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine and declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change and amendment be made. SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2rr reading as follows: 119202.2rr. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map.referred to therein, the following described premises are hereby placed and included in the C-1 Neighborhood Commercial Zone, to -wit: That portion of Lot 161 of E. J. Baldwin's Fourth Subdi- vision, of a part of the Rancho La Puente, in the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown by map recorded in Book 8, at Page 186 of Maps, on file in the office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: . Beginning at the point of intersection of the scu thwesterly line of Merced Avenue, 60 feet wide, with the northwesterly line of Glendora Avenue, 60 feet wide, both as shown by said maps, being the most easterly corner of said lot; thence North 4802813511 West 174ioo feet, more or less, to a point in a line that bears North 42034,17" East and passes thru a point in the northeasterly line of Tract No 24738, in the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown by map recorded in Book 661, at Pages 35 and 36 -of Maps, on file in the office of the County Recorder of said County, distant southeasterly 290.29 feet, from the most northerly corner of Lot 22 of said last mentioned tract; thence South 42034,17" West 187.09 feet, more or less, along said line, to said point in said northeasterly tract line; thence South 48028155" East 170,00 feet, more or less, along said northeasterly tract line, to a point in said northwesterly line of Glendora Avenue, 60 feet wide, distant South 42034,17" West 187.07 feet, more or less, from the point of begin- ning; thence North 42034,17" East 187,07 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning." SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as -required by law.
