AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE TO ADOPT BY REFERENCE THE 111959 NATIONAL
ELECTRICAL CODE".
The City Council of the City of hest Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Section 8130 of the nest Covina Municipal Code
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"8130. 1959 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE ADOPTED. ELECTRICAL
SAFETY ORDERS.
That certain code entitled 11959 National Electrical Code',
as approved by the American Standards Association, and that
certain code entitled 'Electrical Safety Orders, 1955 Edition#,
issued by the Division of Industrial Safety of the State, three
copies of each of which are on file in the office of the City
Clerk, are hereby adopted and by this reference made a part of
this Part as fully and to all intents and purposes as though set
forth herein in full."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
