AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 214 - Sunset Manor)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following zone,change and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission
and by the City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and
general welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone
change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2kk reading as follows:
119202.2kk. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the R-P Residential Professional Zone, to -wit:.
That portion of Lot 161 of E. J. Baldwin's Fourth
Subdivision, in the City of West Covina, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as per map recorded
in Book 8, page 186 of Maps, on file in the office of
the County Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the northeasterly boundary of
Tract No. 24738 as per map recorded in Book 661, pages
35 and 36 of Maps, on file in the office of said County
Recorder, that is distant thereon North 480 281 55"
West 170.00 feet, from the most easterly corner of said
Tract No. 24738; thence along said northeasterly boundary
North 48° 281 55" West 290.29 feet, to the most northerly
corner of Lot 22, of said Tract No. 24738; thence North
41° 311 05" East 187.09 feet, along the southeasterly
boundary of said Tract No. 24738 to the northeasterly
line of said Lot 161 of E. J. Baldwin's Fourth Sub-
division; thence South 480 281 35" East 293.72 feet,
along said last mentioned northeasterly line to a line
that is parallel with the southeasterly line of said
Lot 161 and passes through the point of beginning;
thence South 420 34, 17" West 187.09 feet, along said
parallel line to the point of beginning."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.
