AN ORDINANCE OF THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 207 Roelle)
The City Council of the City of`West Covina,does'ordain as
follows:.
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine.
and declare that the following zone charge and amendment was duly
initiated, that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published,
that public` hearingsthereon were duly held by the Planning.Commission
and by the City Council,,and that the public convenience, necessity and
general welfare and good zoning practice;�rrequire that the -following zone
change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new sectioh`N9202.2i1 reading as follows:
119202.211. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in the
C-2 General Commercial Zone, to -wit
That'portion of Lot 132 of E. J. Baldwin's Fourth Sub-
division, of a portion of the Rancho La 'Puente, in the
City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 8 page 186 of
Maps, on file in the office of the County Recorder of
said County, described as follows:
• Beginning at a point in the northeasterly line of the
southwesterly 511.084 feet of said lot, distant North
480 071 00" West thereon 220..00 feet, from the inter-
section of said northeasterly line with the southeasterly
line of said Lot; thence continuing North 48° 071, 00"
West 200.00 feet along said northeasterly line to a point
thence North 410 531 00" East 398.916 feet, parallel with
said southeasterly lot line, to the northeasterly line
of said Lot; thence South 480 071 00" East 200.00 feet,
along the northeasterly line of said Lot to a point in
a line which is parallel with the southeasterly line of
said Lot, and passes through the point of beginning;
thence South 410 53' 00" West 398.916 feet, along said
last mentioned parallel line to the point of beginning."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.
