AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Zone
Change No. 196 - Bandy)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby,find, determine and
declare that the following zone change and anendment was duly initiated, -
that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the
City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general
welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change
and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West 'Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2aa reading as follows:
"9202.2aa. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the R-4 Business Residential Zone, to -wit:
That portion of lot 195 of E. J. Baldwin's Fifth Sub-
division, of a portion of the Rancho La Puente, in the
City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as per map recorded in book 12, Pages 134
and 135 of Maps, on file in the office of the County
Recorder of said County, described as follows:
Beginning at the southeasterly corner -of said Lot 195;
thence North Ow 39' 50" East 171.53 feet along the
easterly line of said lot;'thence North 890 18' 10"
West 239.60 feet parallel with --the southerly line of
said lot;'thence South 00 39' 50" West 171.53 feet
parallel with the said easterly line to the southerly
line of said]ot 195; thence South 890 18' 10" East
239.60 feet along the southerly line of said lot, more
or less, to the point of beginning.."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.
