AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO'AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (Hurst
and Babson No. 2) (Zone Change No. 185)
The City -Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
0.follows:
SECTION.1I-` The City Council does hereby find, determine and
declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly initiated,
that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the
City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general
welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change
and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2s reading as follows:
119202.2s. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the R-P Residential Professional Zone, to -wit:
That portion of Lot 128 of E. J. Baldwin's 4th Sub-
division of the Rancho La Puente, in the City of West
Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as per map recorded in Book 80 Page 186 of Maps, on
file in the office of the County Recorder of said
County, described as follows: '
Beginning at a point in the northwesterly line of
Sunset Ave., 1001 wide, distant South 41 311 03" West
thereon 250.00 feet, from the northeasterly corner of
said Lot, thence continuing along said northwesterly
line South 410 311 03" West 160.00 feet; thence North
48° 28, 49" West 190.00 feet; thence parallel with
said northwesterly line North 41° 311 03" East 400.00
feet to the southwesterly line of Merced Avenue 7.0
feet wide; thence along said southwesterly line South
48° 28, 49" East 20.00 feet, thence South 410 311 03"
West 240.00 feet, parallel with said northwesterly line;
thence south 480 28, 49" East 170.00 feet, parallel with

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.
