AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO REZONE CERTAIN PREMISES. (City
Initiated) (Zone Change No. 188)
follows: The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
•
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find; determine and
declare that the following zone change and amendment was duly initiated,
that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and by the
City Council, and that the public convenience, necessity and general
welfare and good zoning practice require that the following zone change
and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new section 9202.2u reading as follows:
119202.2u. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in
the C-2 General Commercial Zone, to -wit:
That portion of Lot 167 of E. J. Baldwin"s Fourth Subdi-
vision, of a portion of the Rancho La Puente, in the City
of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of California,
as shown by map recorded in Book 8, at page 186 of Maps,
on file in the office of the County Recorder of said
County, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the southeasterly line of said
lot, distant south 42° Olt 0511 west 341.55 feet, from the
most easterly corner of said lot, said point being a point
in the northwesterly line of Glendora Avenue, 60 feet wide,
as shown by said map; thence north 740 34" 25" west 110.46
feet, more or less, along the northeasterly line of the land
conveyed to Joseph Riding and Thelma E. Riding by deed
recorded as Document No. 251 on September 28, 1960, Official
Records of said County, to a point of intersection with a
line bearing south 13* 571 36" west, and having a length
of 269.99 feet, said line being the centerline of the
southerly extension and realignment' of Vincent Avenue in
the City of West Covina; thence south 130 57' 361" west 23.92
feet, along said line, to the beginning of a tangent curve
concave to the northwest, having a radius of 1000.00 feet;.
thence southwesterly 116.32 feet more or less, along said
curve, thru a central angle of 6 39" 53"; to a point of
intersection with the northeasterly line of the land con-
veyed to the City of West Covina by deed recorded as Docu-
ment No. 3252 on June 16, 1960, in Book D 881 at pages 125,
126, and 127 Official Records of said County, said north-
easterly line being the southwesterly line of said Riding
property; thence south 70° 13' 551" east 41.86 feet, more or
less, along said northeasterly line, to a point in the
southeasterly line of said lot, distant south 42° O1" 05"
west 160.24 feet, from the point of beginning; thence north
420 Olt 051" east 160.24 feet, along said southeasterly lot

SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
