AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 692 AND SECTION
9202.2k OF THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE TO CORRECT
AN ADMINISTRATIVE ERROR IN THE DESCRIPTION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTY THEREIN REFERRED TO.
The'City Council of the City of West Covina does hereby
ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find and determine
that through inadvertence and administrative error, the description of
the property contained in Section 2 of Ordinance No. 692, adopted
February 27, 1961, adding Section 9202.2k to the West Covina Municipal
Code, was not correctly set forth and that the following amendment does
correct said description to correspond with the legal notices, the
application and the proceedings conducted thereon.
SECTION 2. Section 2 of Ordinance No. 692, adopted February
27, 1961, is amended by the addition to the legal description contained
therein of the following words:
"excepting therefrom the Easterly 200 feet thereof."
SECTION 3. Section 9202.2k of the West Covina Municipal
Code is hereby amended to read as follows: .
119202.2k. Zone Changes. Notwithstanding the provisions
of Section 9202.2 and the Zoning Map referred to therein, the
following described premises are hereby placed and included in the
C-1 Neighborhood Commercial Zone, to -wit:
Lot 203 of E. J. Baldwin's 5th Subdivision, of a portion
of Rancho La Puente, in the City of West Covina, County
of Los Angeles, State of California, as shown by maps recorded
in Book 12, at Pages 134 and 135 of Maps on file in the
office of the County Recorder of said County, excepting
therefrom the easterly 200 feet thereof."
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by
law.

introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the

• said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 22nd day of May , 1961, by the following
vote, to -wit:
