ORDINANCE NOS 706
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST°COVINA AMENDING SECTION 3143.1 OF THE WEST
COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE ONE-WAY
STREETS
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1'. Section 3143.1 of the West Covina Municipal
Code is here !,by amended by adding thereto a new subsection (c)
reading as follows:
11(c) Southwesterly upon that portion of Barranca Street
as described in the Deed of Easement to County of Los Angeles
recorded November 28, 1934, as Instrument No. 766 in Book
13072, Page 328 Official Records of said County, beginning
at a point on the West line of Barranca Street, 50 feet
wide, distant South 750 feet, and East 50 feet, from the
point of intersection of the centerline of Barranca Street,
with the centerline of Workman Avenue; thence proceeding
Southwesterly at approximately 450, to a point of inter-
section with the Northerly line of Garvey Avenue, known as
the North Frontage Road of the San Bernardino Freeway, as
constructed by the State Division of Highways.'
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
Passed and approved this 22nd day of May, 1961.

I, ROBERT FLOTTEN, City Clerk of the City of West Covina,
do hereby certify that the above Ordinance No. 706 was
regularly introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regu-
lar meeting of the City Council on the 8th day of May, 1961.
That, thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at
a regular meeting of the City Council on the 22nd day of May, 1961,
by the following vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Brown, Towner, Barnes, Snyder, Mayor Heath
NOES: Councilmen: None
