ORDINANCE NO. 701
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING THE WEST COVINA MUNICIPAL
CODE SO AS TO CHANGE THE AREA DISTRICT OF CERTAIN
PREMISES.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following amendment was duly initiated, that
notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and City
Council, and that the public convenience and necessity and the general
welfare require that the following change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. The West Covina Municipal Code is hereby amended
by the addition thereto of a new Section 9217.1c reading as follows:
"9217 . lc . SAME. CHANGES.
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9217.1 and the
zoning map referred to therein, the following described premises
are hereby placed and included in Area District IV, to -wit:
All of Easterly Annexation District No. 165, which
is located at the easterly side of the City south
of the San Bernardino Freeway."
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.

hereby certify that the above Ordinance No. 701 was regularly intro-
duced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 24th day of April , 1961. That, there-
after, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council on the 8th day of May , 1961, by the
following vote, to -wit:
AYES: Councilmen: Brown, Barnes, Mayor Heath
NOES: Councilmen: Towner, Snyder
ABSENT:Councilmen: None
