AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA ACCEPTING THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION
13522 OF THE PENAL CODE RELATING TO TRAINING OF LAW
ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.
•The City Council of the City of West Covina does -ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City of West Covina declares that it desires
to qualify to receive aid from the State of California under the pro-
visions of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code.
SECTION 2. Pursuant to Section 13522 of said Chapter 1, the
City of West Covina while receiving aid from the State of California
pursuant to said Chapter 1 will adhere to the standards for recruit-
ment and training established by the California Commission on Peace
Officer Standards and Training.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.

I, ROBERT FLOTTEN, City Clerk of the City of West Covina, do
hereby certify that the above Ordinance No. 687 was regularly
introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of
the City Council on the 28th day of November , 1960. That,
thereafter, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular
meeting of the City Council on the 27th day of December , 1960, by
the following vote, to -wit:
