AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA AMENDING SECTION 2321 OF THE WEST
COVINA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO APPOINTMENT
OF MEMBERS OF THE RECREATION AND PARK COMMISSION.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
► follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 2321 of the West Covina Municipal
Code be amended to read as follows:
"2321. APPOINTMENTS.
The Recreation and Park Commission members shall be appointed
by the City Council as follows:
(a) One member shall be a member of the Board of Trustees
of the West Covina Unified.School District to be recommended by
the members of said Board and appointed by the.City Council.
(b) The other six members shall be citizens of the City
appointed by the City Council. In the appointment of one of
said members, the City Council shall solicit, and if received
shall consider, the recommendation of the West Covina Unified
School District, and in the appointment of one of said members,
the City Council shall solicit, and if received shall consider,
the recommendation of the Covina Valley Unified School District."
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the passage
of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required
by law.

introduced and placed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the
City Council on the 26th day of September , 1960. That, there-
after, said ordinance was duly adopted and passed at a regular meeting
of the City Council- on the loth day of. October , 1960s by the
following vote, to -wit:
