ORDINANCE NO. 641
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED
ON THE EASTERLY SIDE OF SUNSET AVENUE BETWEEN
MARIANA AND CRUMLEY STREETS. (Kandel)
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following change of zone was duly initiated, that
notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and City
Council, and that the public convenience and necessity and the general
welfare require. that the following change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 325, passed and approved the 28th
day of June, 1954, Ordinance No, 410, passed and approved the 8th day
of August, 1955, and the Official Zoning Map referred to therein; are
hereby amended to change from its existing zone classification to
Zone R-3 that certain real property in the City of Test Covina described
as follows, to wit:
That portion of the northeasterly one-half of Lot 141 of
E. J. Baldwin's Fourth Subdivision of the Rancho La Puente,
in the City of Test Covina, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 8, Page 186 of
maps on file in the Office of the County Recorder of said
County described as follows:
Beginning in the Northeasterly line of the Southwesterly
one-half of said Lot distant North 480 29' 52" West
thereon 39.65 feet from the Northwesterly line of Bruce
Avenue, 60 feet wide, as shown on map of Tract No. 21908,
in the City of nest Covina, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, recorded in Book. 588, at Pages 19 and 20
of Maps, on file in the Office of the County Recorder of
said County; thence North41' 30' 08" East 110.00 feet;
thence South 480 29' 52" East 677.00 feet, to the South-
easterly line of said Lot; thence North 410 31' 10" East
15.00 feet along said Southeasterly line thence North
480 29' 52" West,727.35 feet; thence South 410 30' 08"
West 125.00 feet, to said Northeasterly line; thence South
480 29' 52" East 50.35 feet, to the point of beginning.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required_by law.
