AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON
THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF GLENDORA AVENUE BETWEEN
STATE STREET AND WALNUT CREEK WASH.

The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
,SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following change of zone was duly initiated,
that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that
public hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission
and City Council, and that the public convenience and necessity and
the general welfare require that the following change and amendment
be made.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 325, passed and approved the 28th
day of June, 1954, Ordinance No. 410, passed and approved the 8th
day of August, 1955, and the Official Zoning Map referred to therein,
are hereby amended to change from its existing zone dlassification
to Zone C-3 that certain real property in the City of West Covina
described as follows, to -wit:
That portion of Lot 168 and 169 of E. J. Baldwin's
4th Subdivision of a part of Rancho La Puente, in
the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as shown by map recorded in
Book 8, at Page 186 of Maps, on file in the office
of the County Recorder of said County,. described as
follows:
That part of the northeasterly 259.60 feet of Lot
168, and the southwesterly 379.45 feet, as measured
along the southeasterly line of said lots, lying
easterly of the southwesterly prolongation of the
center line of Vincent Avenue. EXCEPTING THEREFROM
that portion deeded to the State Division of Highways,
for highway purposes.
SECTION 3. Section 2 of this ordinance shall become effec-
tive when and only when properly executed deeds for the widening of
Vincent Avenue within or adjacent to said property have been pre-
sented to and accepted by the City, it being found that the pro-
priety and necessity of said zone change is dependent upon the
widening of Vincent Avenue.
