ORDINANCE NO. 622
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON
THE EAST SIDE OF SUNSET AVENUE BETWEEN MARIANNA
AND CRUMLEY STREETS. (Kandel).
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following changes of zone were duly initiated,
that notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and City
Council, and that the public convenience and necessity and the general
welfare require that the following changes and amendments be made.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 325, passed and approved the 28th
day of June, 1954, Ordinance No. 410, passed and approved the 8th day
of August, 1955, and the Official Zoning Map referred to therein, are
hereby amended to change from its existing zone classification to Zone
R-3 that certain real property in the City of West Covina described as
follows, to -wit:
The northeasterly one-half of Lot 141 of E. J. Baldwin's
Fourth Subdivision of Part of the Rancho La Puente, in
the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 8, page 186
of Maps, on file in the office of the County Recorder
of said County, except the southwest 125 feet of the
southeast 727 feet thereof.
SECTION 3. Ordinance No. 325, passed and approved the 28th
day of June, 1954, Ordinance No. 410, passed and approved the 8th day of
August, 1955, and the Official Zoning Map referred to therein, are
hereby amended to change from its existing zone classification to Zone
R-1 that certain real property in the City of West Covina described as
follows, to -wit:
The southwest 125 feet of the southeast 727 feet of the
northeasterly one-half of Lot 141 of E. J. Baldwin's
Fourth Subdivision of Part of the Rancho La Puente, in
the City of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State
of California, as per map recorded in Book 8, page 186
of Maps, on -file in the office of the County Recorder of
said County.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
