ORDINANCE NO. 600
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON
THE WEST SIDE OF GLENDORA AVENUE BETWEEN WESTCOVE
AND VINE. (Hunter, Broadwell and Bowker).
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following change of zone was duly initiated, that
notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and City
Council, and that the public convenience and necessity and the general
welfare require that the following change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 325, passed and approved the
28th day of June, 1954, Ordinance No. 410, passed and approved the
8th day of August, 1955, and the Official Zoning Map referred to
therein, are hereby amended to change from its existing zone classi-
fication to Zone C-1 that certain real property in the City of West
Covina described as follows, to -wit:
Parcel No. 1:
That portion of Lot 163 of E. J. Baldwin's Fourth Subdivision
as recorded in Book.8, Page 186 of Maps on file in the office
of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles, State of Cali-
fornia, described as follows:
Beginning at a point N 420 56' 15" E 107.99 feet from the most
southerly corner of said lot 163,'thence N 480 07' 00" W
575.22 feet, thence N 410 53' 00" E 124.98 feet, thence S
480 07' 00" E to the southeasterly line of said lot, thence
southwesterly thereon to the point of beginning.
Parcel No. 2:
Lot 163 excepting therefrom the southwesterly 232.97 feet thereof
and the northeasterly 366.73 feet thereof and the northwesterly
618.00 feet.
Parcel No. 3:
That portion of Lots 162 and 163 of E. J. Baldwin's Fourth Sub-
division of part of Rancho La Puente, in the City of West Covina,
County of Los Angeles and State of California as per map recorded
in Book 8, Page 186 of Maps, described as follows:
Beginning at the most northerly corner of said Lot 162; thence
northeasterly along the northwesterly line of said Lot 163, a
distance of 107.97 feet; thence southeasterly parallel with the
southwesterly line of said Lot 163, a distance of 1193.22 feet
to a point; thence southwesterly along the southeasterly line
of said Lots 162 and 173, a distance of 313.07 feet more or less
to a point in the southwesterly -line of the property owned by
applicants Bridge & Bowker; thence northwesterly along a line
parallel with the southwesterly line of Lot 163, a distance of
1187 feet more or less to the northwesterly line of Lot 162;
thence northeasterly along the northwesterly line of said Lot
162, a distance of 205 feet, more or less, to the point of
beginning. EXCEPTING therefrom the northwesterly 618 feet
thereof.

SECTION 3. The City Clerk. shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required -bylaw.
