ORDINANCE NO. 593
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY OWNED BY
THE CITY. (City Initiated).
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain
as follows:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby find, determine
and declare that the following change of zone was duly initiated, that
notice of hearing thereon was duly given and published, that public
hearings thereon were duly held by the Planning Commission and City
Council, and that the public convenience and necessity and the general
welfare require that the following change and amendment be made.
SECTION 2. Ordinance No. 325, passed.and approved the
28th day of June, 1954, Ordinance No. 410, passed and approved the
8th day of August, 1955, and the Official Zoning Map referred to
therein, are hereby amended to change from its existing zone classi-
fication to Zone P-B (Public Purposes Zone) that certain real property
in the City of West Covina described as follows, to -wit:
E. J. Baldwin's Fourth Subdivision, part of the
Rancho La Puente, lot commencing south 410 53' west
75 feet from most easterly _corner of Lot 131;
thence south 410 53' west 180.5 feetthence north
480 07' west 458 feet; thence north 410 53' east
30 feet; thence north 480 07' west 50 feetthence
south 410 53' west 30 feet; thence north 4•�0 07'
west 21 feet; thence north 76' 42' east 219'.86 feet;
thence south 480 07' east 403.47 feet; to beginning.
Excepting flood control easement part of Lot 131,
and generally located on the northwest side of
Sunset, between Merced and Cameron Avenues, adjacent
to Corporation Yard, of the City of West Covina.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
