AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
NEST COVINA AMENDING PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE NO.
556 RELATING TO THE TERMS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE
PERSONNEL BOARD.
The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as
follows:
SECTION 1. Paragraph (b) of Section 4 of Ordinance No. 556,
passed and approved the 23rd day of December, 1957, is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"(b) The first Board to be appointed shall so
classify its members, by lot, at its first
meeting; one shall serve for a term ending
June 30, 1959; one shall serve for a term
ending June 30, 1960; one shall serve for
a term ending June 30, 1961; and two shall
serve for a term ending June 30, 1962. At
the expiration of each of the terms so pro-
vided, a successor shall be:.appointed by the
Council for a term of four years with the
exception as provided above in this section."
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of
this ordinance and shall publish the same as required by law.
