DECREASING THE MAXIMUM SPEED LIMIT UPON A CERTAIN PUBLIC STREET, TO -WIT: SUNSET AVENUE, WITHIN THE INCORPORATED LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA. • The City Council of the City of West Covina does ordain as follows: SECTION 1. Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misde- meanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding Five Hundred Dollars ($500,00), or by imprisonment in the County Jail of the County of 'Los Angeles, State of California, for a period not exceeding six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be published as required by law.
