AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA 9 ADOPTING A. MASTER PLAN. OF SIDEWALKS.
THE' CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the
City of West Covina has caused to be prepared a Master Plan of
Sidewalks as a part of the Comprehensive General Plan of the City
• of West Covina; and
'WHEREAS, the said Planning Commission did on November 7,
1956, conduct a duly advertised public hearing as prescribed by
law and duly considered said master plan; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No.439 the said Planning Commission
on November 7, 19569 considered said plan and recommended to the
City Council the adoption thereof; and
"WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina did
on December 10, 19569 hold and conduct a duly advertised public
hearing as prescribed by law and considered said master plan
thereat and duly adopted said plan:
NOW9 THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA
:DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
That that certain Master Plan No.13 for the construction
of sidewalks in the City of West Covina, heretofore considered by
the City Planning Commission and by the ,City Council as aforesaid,
be and the same is hereby adopted as an Official Master Plan, under
and pursuant.to the provisions of Sections 65460 et sequi of the
Government Code of the State of California and as a part of the
Comprehensive General P1an,of the City of West Covina.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15)
days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be
published once in the West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of general
circulation published and circulated in the City of West Covina
and thirty (30) days from and after the final passage thereof
said Ordinance shall take effect and.be in force.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina,
held on the 14th day of January, 1957, by the affirmative vote of
