ORDINANCE NO.513
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION, 2.OF ORDINANCE NO.494 OF THE
CITY.OF WEST COVINA PROVIDING FOR THE.ANNEXATION OF "WEST
COVINA NORTHERLY_ANNEXATION DISTRICT NO.141119.ADOPTED OCTOBER
8, 1956.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA :DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 2 of Ordinance No.494 of
• the City of West Covina, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE
ANNEXATION TO, INCORPORATING IN AND MAKING A PART OF SAID CITY
OF WEST COVINA, CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY OUTSIDE THE SAID
CITY AND CONTIGUOUS THERETO, KNOWN AS '-`WEST, COVINA NORTHERLY
ANNEXATION'DISTRICT NO.14111, adopted October 89 1956, be and the
same is hereby amended so as to read as follows:
'1SECTION 2. The territory hereinbef ore referred to,
and which is annexed to and made a part and incor-
porated in said City of West Covina, is more particularly
described as follows, to wit:
Beginning at the intersection of a line that is
parallel with and 290.64 feet easterly measured at
right angles from the westerly line of Lot 27 of
W.R.Rowland Tract, as shown on map recorded in Book
42, page 45 of Miscellaneous Records, in the office
of the Recorder of the County of Los Angeles, with
the northerly line of said lot; thence easterly,
• northerly and easterly along thelboundary of the
City of 'West Covina as same existed on May 11, 19569
to the northeasterly corner of 'Annexation District
No.1111, to said city; thence easterly along the
easterly prolongation of the northerly line of said
'°Annexation District No.11111, to the southerly
prolongation of the easterly line of Lark Ellen
Avenue, 66 feet wide, as shown on map f iled.in Book
46 page 21 of Record of Surveys, in the office of
said Recorder; thence northerly along said prolong-
ation and easterly line to the southerly line of
San Bernardino Road, 66 feet wide, as shown on said
last mentioned map; thence westerly along the westerly

prolongation of said southerly line, and continuing
westerly along the southerly line of San Bernardino
Road, 66 feet wide, as shown on map filed. in Book
60 page 49 of said Record of Surveys, to the boundary
of the City of Covina, as same existed on said date;
thence westerly along said last mentioned boundary
and following the same in all its various courses to
said parallel line; thence southerly along said
parallel line to the point of beginning.
Said Territory shall be designated as "West Covina Northerly
Annexation District No.141n.
• SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certifyto the
adoption
of this ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15 ) days
from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published
once in the West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the City of West Covina, and thirty
(30) days from and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force.

held on the 26th day of December, 1956, by the affirmative vote
of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
