AN ORDINANCE OF THE' CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 'WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING _A . MASTER . PLAN._FOR _ THE ..DEVELOPMENT OF
RIDING AND HIRING.TRAILS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. AREAS, the City Planning Commission of
the City of West Covina has caused to be prepared a Master Plan
for the development of
riding
and
hiking
trails
as a part of the
Comprehensive General
Plan of
the
City of
West
Covina; and
WHEREAS, the said Planning Commission did on October 17,
1956, conduct a duly advertised public hearing as prescribed by
law and duly considered said master plan; and
M- MEAS, by Resolution No.433 the said Planning Commission
on October 17, 19569 considered said plan and recommended to the
City Council the adoption thereof; and
"WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina did
on November 13, 1956, hold and conduct a duly advertised public
hearing as prescribed by law and considered said master plan there-
at and duly adopted said plan:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of 'West Covina
does ordain as follows: That that certain Master Plan No.12 for
• the development of riding and hiking trails, in the City of 'West
Covina, heretofore considered by the City Planning Commission and
by the City Council as aforesaid, be and the same is hereby adopted
as an Official Master Plan, under and pursuant to the provisions
of Sections 65460 et sequi of the Government Code of the State of
California, and as a part of the Comprehensive General Plan of
the City of West Covina.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify t'o'the adoption
of this Ordinance, andprior to the expiration of fifteen (15)
days from -the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published
once in the West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in -the City of West Covina and thirty (30)
days fromandafter the final passage thereof said Ordinance shall
0 take effect and be in force,

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina,
held on the 10th day of December, 19569 by the affirmative vote of
at least three Councilmen, to wit:
