ORDINANCE NO.508
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A . MASTER PLAN FOR THE . DEVELOPMENT . OF
PARK -AND. RECREATION FACILITIES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. 'NHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of
the City of 'West Covina has caused to be prepared a Master Plan
for the development of park and recreation facilities as a part
• of the Comprehensive General Plan of the City of West Covina � and
IgUM? AS, the said Planning Commission did on October 3,
1956, conduct a duly advertised public hearing as prescribed by
law and duly considered said master plan; and
WHEREAS, by Resolution No.427 the said Planning Commission
on October 3, 1956, considered said plan and recommended to the
City Council the adoption thereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina did
on November 13, 1956, hold and conduct a duly advertised public
hearing as prescribed by law and considered said master plan thereat
and duly adopted said plan:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of 'West Covina
does ordain as follows: That that certain Master Plan N0.11 for
the development of parks and recreational facilities, in the City
of West Covina, heretofore considered by the City Planning Commission
and by the City Council as aforesaid, be and the same is hereby
adopted as an Official Master Plan, under and pursuant to the pro-
visions of Sections 65460 et sequi of the Government Code of the
State of California, and as a part of the Comprehensive General Plan
of the City of ":West Covina.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance, and, prior to the expiration of fifteen (15)
days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to -be published
once in the West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the City of West Covina and thirty (30)
• days from and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina,
held on the 10th day of December, 1956, by the affirmative vote of
at least three Councilmen, to wit:
