AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, AYIENDING ORDINANCE NO.147 OF SAID CITY, KNOWN AS
THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AND CHANGING THE ZONING I4iAP ATTACHED
THERETO AND I4ADE A PART ,THEREOF (-Dashiell)•
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No.147 of the City of West
Covina, entitled "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ZONES IN THE CITY
OF IV -EST COVINA, AND THEREIN REGULATING THE USE OF LAND, HEIGHT
• OF' BUILDINGS AIM YARD SPACES; ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING THE
BOUNDARIES OF SAID ZONES; DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN THIS
ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR ITS A"DJUSTMENT, AHENDINDS T AND ENFORCE-
MENT; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS AND REPEALING 0RDI-
NA NCES OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH«, adopted
February 5, 1948, as amended, and the Zoning Map therein referred
to, be and the same are hereby amended by adding thereto, as a
part of the zoning map of the City of West Covina, the following:
PARCEL 1:
E. J. Baldwin's Fourth Subdivision of part of Rancho
La Puente, one half vacant street adjacent on north-
west and 8.73 acres commencing at intersection of
southerly line Garvey Boulevard with northwesterly
line of Lot 144 thence south 410 53, west 466.31 feet,
thence south 489 071, East 540.86 feet, thence north-
east at right angles 931.82 feet to South line of said
boulevard, then west thereon to beginning
PARCEL 2:
E,J.Baldwints Fourth Subdivision of part of Rancho La
Puente vacant street adjacent on northwest and 4.92
acres commencing at the most westerly corner of Lot
1449 then North 410 531 East 230.9 feet with a uniform
depth of 927.36 feet, south 480 071 east thereon to
beginning.

be and the same is hereby excepted from the particular zone in
which such real property has otherwise been place and designated
by the provisions of this ordinance, as amended, and all such
property and territory is hereby reclassified in accordance with
the provisions of said Ordinance No.147, as amended, so as to
establish the same as a part of Zone C-21 said Zoning Map being
hereby amended to conform to the foregoing reclassification,
• the development of the aforesaid property to conform in all res-
pects to that certain precise plan which was heretofore approved
by this Council under the provisions of Ordinance No.2489 adopted
May 11, 1953, as amended by the provisions of Ordinance No.303,
adopted March 22, 1954, for the general business area of which
theaf oredescribed real property is a part.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days
from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published
once in the West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the City of West Covina, and thirty
(30) days from and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance
• shall take effect and be in force.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West
Covina, held on the day of September, 1956, by the
affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
