AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA ,
CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING CERTAIN SPECIFICATIONS FOR STREET
IMPROVEXENTS AN:D.PROVI.DING FOR THE SALE TO THE PUBLIC OF
COPIES THEREOF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA :DONS ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That those certain specifications entitled
"Standard Specifications for Street Improvements", three copies
of which are on file
in the office of
the
City Clerk and
available
for inspection by the
public, be and
the
same are hereby
approved
and adopted for immediate use in the City of West Covina and
shall govern the construction, maintenance and repair of all
streets and appurtenant facilities as therein set forth.
SECTION 2. That copies of said specifications shall be
provided by the City Clerk to anyone desiring such copies at
a price of Five Dollars ($5.00) for each such copy; the City
Clerk being hereby authorized and empowered to collect said amount,
to issue a receipt therefor and to remit all of said amounts to
the City Treasurer as soon thereafter as may be practicable for
deposit to the credit of the General Fund.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
• of this Ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15)
days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published
once in the 'West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the City of West Covina, and thirty
(30) days from and after the passage thereof said Ordinance shall
take effect and be in force.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of West Covina, held on the 27 day of August, 1956. by
the affirmative vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
