ORDINANCE NO.462
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, AMA' TDING ORDINANCE NO.147 OF SAID CITY, KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE, AND CHANGING THE ZONING MAP ATTACHED THERETO
AND MADE A PART THEREOF (Tenmen Enterprises,Inc.).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance No.147 of the City of West
Covina, entitled tIAN ORDINANCE 'ESTABLISHING ZONES IN THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, AND THEREIN REGULATING THE USE OF LAND, HEIGHT OF
• BUILDINGS AND YARD SPACES; ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING THE BOUNDARIES
OF SAID ZONES; DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING
FOR ITS ADJUSTMENT, AMENDMENT AND ENFORCEMENT; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLATIONS AND REPEALING ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH". adopted February 5, 1948, as amended, and
the Zoning Map therein referred -to, be and the same are hereby
amended by adding thereto, as a part of the zoning map of the City
of -West Covina, the following:
All of Lot 15 of Tract No.2371, in the City
of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as shown on Map recorded in Book 23,
Pages 98 and 99 of Maps, on file in the office
of the County Recorder of said County, 'EXCEPTING
THEREFROM that portion described as follows:
Beginning at the most easterly corner of said
0 lot; thence South 260 041 West 90.00 feet along
the Southeasterly line of said lot; thence North
20 591 131, West 102.96 feet, to a point in the
northeasterly line of said lot, distant North 630
561 West 50.00 feet from the point of beginning;
thence South 630 561 East 50.00 feet along said
Northeasterly line, to the point of beginning,and
that portion of Lot 16 of said Tract No.2371,
described as follows:
The Easterly 820.12 feet as measured along the
Northerly line of said lot of the Northerly
328.66 feet, measured at right angles
be and the same is hereby excepted from the particular zone in which
such real property has otherwise been placed and designated by the

provisions of this ordinance, as amended, and all such property
and territory is hereby reclassified in accordance with the pro-
visions of said Ordinance No.147, as amended, so as to establish
the same as a part of Zone R-1 Area District III, said Zoning Map
being hereby amended to conform to the foregoing reclassification,
the development of the aforesaid property to conform in all respects
to the subdivision map of Tract No.21014 adopted and approved for
this area concurrently herewith.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify as to the adoption
of this Ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days
from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published
once in the West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the City of West Covina, and thirty
(30) days from and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance
shall take effect and be in f

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina,
held on the 26th day of Narch, 1956, by the affirmative vote of at
least three Councilmen, to wit:
