CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.147. OF SAID CITY, . KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE, AND CHANGING THE ZONING MAP ATTACHED THERETO
AND MADE A PART THEREOF (Portion of Central Business District).

DOES ORDAIN
AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance
No.147
of the City
of
West
Covina, entitled "AN ORDINANCE ;ESTABLISHING ZONES IN THE CITY OF
WEST COVINA, AND THEREIN REGULATING THE USE OF LAND, HEIGHT OF
BUILDINGS AND YARD SPACES; ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING THE BOUNDARIES
OF SAID ZONES; DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING
FOR ITS ADJUSTMENT, ATIENDMENT AND ENFORCEMENT; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES
FOR VIOLATIONS AND REPEALING ORDINANCES OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT THEREWITH", adopted February 5, 1948, as amended, and
the Zoning Map therein referred to, be and the same are hereby
amended by adding thereto, as a part of the Zoning Map of the City
of West Covina, the following:
That portion of E.J.Baldwin►s 5th Subdivision
in the City of West Covina,.which is bounded
on the Northwest by the southeasterly line of
Glendora Avenue, 60 feet wide, on the north
east by the southwesterly line of Tracts Nos.
17325 and 16233; on the southeast by the north-
westerly line of Tract No.17479 and the north-
westerly line of lots 1 through 6 and the pro-
longa:tion thereof in Tract No.20394; and on
the southwest by the northerly line of Walnut
Creek Parkway, 60 feet wide
be and the same is hereby excepted from the particular zone in which
such real property has otherwise been placed and designated by the
provisions of this ordinance, as amended, and all such property and
territory is hereby reclassified in accordance with the provisions
of said Ordinance No.147 so as to establish the same as a, part of
Zone C-1, said Zoning Map being hereby amended to conform to the

foregoing reclassification, the development of the aforesaid
property to conform in all respects to the Precise Plan hereto-
fore adopted for this area,.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify as to the
adoption of this Ordinance, and prior to the expiration of
fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same
to be published once
in the West
Covina Tribune,
a newspaper of
general circulation
published and
circulated in
the City of
West Covina, and thirty (30) days from and after the final passage
thereof said Ordinance shall take effect and be in force.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted
at a. regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West Covina,
held on the 23rd day of January, 1956, by the affirmative vote of
at least three Councilmen, to wit:
