Ordinance - 448ORDINANCE NO.448 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A.PRECISE_PLAN FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN SAID CITY, PURSUANT TO SECTION.14 OF ORDINANCE NO.147 OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, AND A11ENDING . SAID ORDINANCE NO.147 (Babson &.Associa.tes). THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. WHEREAS, Ordinance No.147 of the City of West Covina., known as the Zoning Ordinance, a,s amended, classifies certain properties described as the area: located on the north side of Badillo Street west of Orange Avenue, in the City of West Covina, as Zone C-2, a,s defined by the provisions of said Ordinance No.147, a,s amended by Ordinance No.325 of the City of West Covina:;l. and WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of West Covina, has considered a. precise plan for the development of the above described area to encourage the proper utilization of such properties; and. WHEREAS, the said Planning Commission did on November'.2, 1955, conduct a duly advertised public hearing a,s prescribed by law and duly considered the application of Lee Xossberg for a. recla,ssi- fication in the zoning of said property in accordance with said precise plan; and WHEREAS, by appropriate resolutions the said Planning Commission recommended to the City Council the approval of the said requested reclassification; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of West Covina., pur- suant to law, held and conducted a. duly advertised public hearing and considered said application for a. recla.ssifica,tion in relation to the precise plain heretofore submitted therefor, and duly approved said reclassification, subject to the stipulations hereinafter enumerated: -1- r Now THEREFORE9 the City Council of the City of West Covina, does ordain as follows: That that certain precise plan and reclassification hereina:bove described for the development of the real property as aforementioned, in the City of West Covina, heretofore approved as aforesaid by the City Planning Commission, be and the same are hereby approved, under and pur- suant to the provisions of Ordinance No.147 of the City of West Covina, a,s a.mended, for the areas hereinafter specifically des- cribedsubject to the following conditions: , J That the proposed development conform to the adopted d to all the conditions attached thereto. SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published once in the West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation ., published and circulated in the City of West Covina, and thirty (30) days from and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance shall take effect and be in force.
