AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.147. OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA.
KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AND CHANGING THE.ZONING MAP
ATTACHED THERETO AND MADE A PART THEREOF (Bandy).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No.147 of the City of West Covina,
entitled "AN ORDINANCE 'ESTABLISHING ZONES IN THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
• AND THEREIN REGULATING THE USE OF LANDS, HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS AND
YARD SPACES; ADOPTING A MAP SHOWING THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID ZONES;
DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR ITS ADJUST-
MENT, AMENDMENT AND ENFORCT31ENT; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS
AND REPEALING ORDINANCES OR PDRTIONS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
THEREWITH", adopted February 5, 1948, as amended, be and the same
is hereby further amended by adding thereto, as a part of the
Zoning Map of the City of West Covina, the following:
That portion of Lot 170 and 186 in E.J.Baldwints
5th Subdivision of a portion of the Rancho LaPuente
in the City of West Covina, as shown on map.recorded
in Book 12 Page 134 et seq. of Maps, in the office
of the County Recorder,of said County described as
follows:
Commencing at a point in the northwesterly line of
said Lot 170 distant south 440400" West 143.86 feet
from the northwesterly corner of.said lot. Thence
south 450 201 OR east 195 feet to a point in the
northeasterly prolongation of the northwesterly line
of Tract 17479. Thence southwesterly along said
prolongation and northwesterly line of Tract 17479
124.2 feet. Thence north 450 20' 0011 west 195 feet
to a point in the northwesterly line of said lot 170.
Thence along said line 124.2 feet to the point of
beginning
be and the same is hereby excepted from the particular zone in which
such real property has otherwise been placed and designated by the
provisions of this section, and all such property and territory is
hereby reclassified in accordance with the provisions of said

Ordinance No.1479 as amended, so as to establish the real property
aforesaid as a part of Zone C-1, a precise plan for the develop-
ment of said property having been heretofore approved and adopted.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15) days
from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published
once in the West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the City of West Covina, and thirty
(30) days from and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West
Covina, held on the 24th day of October, 1955, by the affirmative
vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
