AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 1.OF ORDINANCE NO.293 OF THE
CITY OF WEST COVINA, ADOPTED JANUARY_259 1954, BY REVISING
THE DESCRIPTION OF THE REAL.PROPERTY_ THEREIN RECLASSIFIED FOR
ZONING PURPOSES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No.293 of the
. City of West Covina, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, CALIFORNIA, ADOPTING A PRECISE PLAN FOR
THE DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN SAID CITY, PURSUANT TO
SECTION 14 OF ORDINANCE NO.147 OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA, AND
AMENDING SAID ORDINANCE NO.147 (John Shkofach)11, adopted January
259 1954, be and the sane is hereby amended by substituting for
the legal description of the real property set forth on page 3 of
said Ordinance the following, to wit:
'The hereinafter described real property, to wit:
The Southerly 212.15 feet of that portion
of Lots 4 and 5 of the Reichard Tract in the City
of West Covina, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as shown by map recorded in Book 10,
page 121 of Maps, on file in the office of the
County Recorder of said County described as follows:
Beginning At the Northeast corner of Lot 5 of
said Tract; thence North 870 5414011 West 359.75 feet
along.the Northerly line of the -land originally des-
cribed in Certificate of Title No.P-8170, being also
the Northerly line of said Lot 5, to the true point
of beginning; thence'South 40 311 31" West, 692.15
feet to a line parallel with and distant 154.00 feet
Northerly, measured at right angles, from the
Southerly line of Lot 4 of said Tract; thence North
890 191 4011 West along said parallel line 111.93
feet to the Westerly line of the land described in
said Certificate of Title No.P-8170; thence along
said Westerly line North 40 301 5011 East 692.15 feet,

more or less, to the Northerly line of land
described in said Certificate No.P-81709 being
also the Northerly line of said Lot 5, thence
South 870.54t 40" East 111.93 feet, along said
Northerly line to the true point of beginning,
excepting therefrom that portion or portions of
the foregoing real property presently developed
for R-3 uses. "
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
• of this Ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen (15)
days from the passage thereof, shall cause the same to be published
once in the West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of general circulation
published and circulated in the City of West Covina, and thirty
(30) days from and after the final passage thereof said Ordinance
shall take effect and be in force.

at a regular meeting of the City Council of 'the City of West Covina,
held on the 8th day of August, 1955, by the affirmative vote of
