AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.325. OF THE CITY OF WEST
COVINA, KNOWN AS.THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING.ORDINANCE, ADOPTED
JUNE 28, 19549 BY.ADDING THERETO A NEW AND REVISED "ZONING MAP
OF THE CITY OF WEST.COVINA!t.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST COVINA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No.325 of the City of West
Covina, entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO.147 BEING AN
ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ZONES IN THE CITY OF WEST COVINA AND THEREIN
REGULATING THE USE OF LAND, HEIGHT OF BUILDINGS, AREA OF LOTS AND
PARCELS AND YARD SPACES; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTIONOF MAPS SHOWING
THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID ZONES;"DEFINING THE TERMS USED IN THIS
ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR ITS ADJUSTMENT, AMENDMENT AND ENFORCEMENT;
PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR VIOLATION; REPEALING ORDINANCES OR
PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH", adopted June 28,1954,
and particularly Section 302 thereof, be and the same is hereby _
amended by adding thereto that certain revised and amended overall
"Zoning Map of the City of West Covina" which is hereby adopted
and which map by this reference is made a part ,of this Ordinance;
all prior zoning maps of the City of West Covina indicating the
location and boundaries of the various zones, including the zoning
map adopted originally by Ordinance No.147 on January 2191948, as
subsequently amended, and referred to in said Section 302 of
Ordinance No.325, are hereby repealed. That the aforesaid amended
overall 'Zoning Map of the City of West Covina" shall,be and is
hereby made a part of said Ordinance No..325 in place of the zoning
maps heretofore adopted and hereby specifically repealed.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Ordinance, and prior to the expiration of fifteen .(15)
days from the passage -thereof, shall cause the same to be pub-
lished once in the West Covina Tribune, a newspaper of general
circulation published and circulated in the City of West Covina,
and thirty (30) days from and after the final passage thereof
said Ordinance shall take effect and be in force.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of West
Covina, held on the 8th day of August, 1955, by the affirmative
vote of at least three Councilmen, to wit:
